TEXTILES
For Water TreatmentWater is used extensively in almost all stages of textile industry. Each stage like pretreatment, dyeing, bleaching, printing, washing needs huge volume of water. The process water needs to be either free or contain regulated quantities of impurities, viz. Colour, Turbidity, pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Temporary & Permanent Hardness.
Treated water is needed at the very first stage where bleacing, dyeing & washing of fibres and fabrics take place. In the process, when hot water is required, specially treated De-mineralised water is used in order to prevent scaling in boilers. The effluent coming out as a result of washing, needs treatment before discharging into nature. A good percentage of the wastewater are been recycled for further use.
The wastewater coming out after washing and dyeing of fibres and fabrics need treatment before being discharged into nature. To reduce wastage a good amount of waste is been recycled for further use.
The generated effluent is typically full of detergents and dye residues, which needs neutralization prior to biological treatment.
Plants supplied by Signea does not contain movable parts inside keeps the maintenance cost at low. Apart from standard pumps and blowers, no other rotating machines are included.
The static clarifiers supplied operate on Sludge Blanket Principle for optimum efficiency. The treated effluent shall always comply with applicable Pollution norms of the countries.
The treated wastewater is further processed by Filtration, Ultrafiltration and RO to make it suitable for re-use.
The accumulated Sludge is made into briquette form by Press or Centrifuge for disposal.
ZERO DISCHARGE TREATMENT SYSTEMS are also provided upon specific customer request.
PHARMACEUTICALS
Water requirement for Pharmaceutical industries can be classified at several stages; viz. Potable Water for early stages of chemical synthesis and early stages of equipment cleaning.
Purified Water used as excipient in the manufacturing of medicines, preparation of bulk chemicals and equipment cleaning.
Water for Injections (WFI), used as an excipient in the manufacturing of the potentials. Also used for preparation of sterile bulk chemicals.
At first stage, raw water sourced from river or borewell, is treated to make it potable. ▼

POWER PLANTS
Water for Thermal Power Generating Stations
Thermal Power Plants consume large amount of water. Work on new design is going on in order to reduce the consumption.
The raw water is sourced primarily from rivers followed by a lower percentage of ground water.
Basic water requirement of power plants is for steam generation. Low TDS soft water is required at this stage. Since presence of mineral salts cause scaling inside boiler drum, the sourced water is been treated first to make it fit for use.
On the next stage the water is needed to be treated by means of dosing chemicals. pH correction, de-aeration etc. are some of the necessary steps of processing boiler feed water.
For high pressure applications, i.e. inside boiler drum additional dosing of Phosphate is required.

Water, of varied quantities, is used for several purposes in the manufacture of pulp & paper. Pulp making & Bleaching are two main processes where huge amount of fresh water is required. A large amount of used water (effluent) is been recycled for further use in the process.
Apart from paper, where other process industries are concerned, huge amount of water is required at process specific qualities. Sugar Mills need a high volume of water for sugarcane washing. Thereafter water is required for steam generation and washing of equipments.
Basic quality of water needed for process plants:

In addition to De-mineralized water, Petrochemical units required several chemically stabilized water service for Boiler Feed Water, De-aerator, Corrosion Inhibitor, Polymeric Dispersant and acid dosing.

DOMESTIC & HOSPITALITY
Wastewater coming out of human consumption, means sewage is a major concern for residential units as well as hotels. Being smelly in nature, sewage needs to be transported over a long distance for treatment. Visible dirty water of sewage is also another issue to be taken care of.
Many high end residential units and exclusive hotels come out among natural landscapes, like close to a hill, lake, forest or sea. The sewage generated needs to be treated as early as possible in these cases. Many times they are simply flown down to natural water bodies.
Having a non-mechanised source, sewage often flows by gravity, which results in laying pipelines with good amount of slope or gradient. For a long sewer layout, where distance between source and treatment plant is more than a couple of kilometers, the depth of discharge (at treatment plant) becomes quite high. It directly implies deep cutting into earth, with many inconveniences as well as high cost.
Furthermore, human consumptions like drinking, bathing, laundry, dishwashing all needs very high quality of water. Introduction of modern gadgets increase the overall water consumption to a great extent. All of these water is been drawn from either municipal pipe water network or ground water. With depleted ground water level it becomes a necessity to recycle and reuse a part of wastewater.
The wastewater generated from residences and hotels are primarily classified as black water and grey water. Additionally kitchen waste comes out loaded with high amount of fat.
HICLEAR packaged sewage treatment plants are deployed to treat both black & grey water. Additional skimming is needed for kitchen waste to separate the oil and fat content prior to sewage treatment.
HICLEAR uses closed vessels for treatment with no visible dirty water, no foul smell. Treated sewage can be used for irrigation, gardening or fish cultivation purpose.
